This is the place to access our official podcast, “It’s In A Book”! The first twenty-two episodes were produced a few years ago and were formerly featured on iTunes, now Apple Podcasts, under the same title. New episodes will be produced once a month to coincide with the meetings of the BFBCR—ok, plus whenever we’re in the mood to produce a special episode or ten. Watch out now!

Season 2, Episode 4: "Black No More" (October 25, 2019)

It’s In A Book! In this episode we take a tiny little detour along the road to the end of “The Spook Who Sat By The Door”. A strange, brilliant novel by George S. Schuyler, “Black No More” from the Harlem Renaissance sort of splashed onto my radar. My friend Aundrey and I spend the entire podcast having a long conversation about it. Of course, Chapters 7 and 8 of “TSWSBD” are linked just under the podcast below. And as ever, anyone challenged for time who wants purely to listen to the novel can find it contained, chapter by chapter, here.
